DropIt: Drag & Drop Uploads for Blocs Forms

Your Blocs forms just learned to catch files.

We did it again. First we wrote the boilerplate behind the SMTP option built into Blocs. Then we launched RichForms, the first Bric to send beautiful branded HTML emails from Blocs forms. Now we’re back with the missing piece: DropIt, modern drag & drop file attachments, seamlessly integrated with the standard Blocs form.

🚀 Zero setup. Drop DropIt inside any Blocs form and you’re done. Files are handed to the regular Blocs form pipeline, so validation, spam protection and sending work exactly as before. No extra server scripts. It even works on forms without a file field: DropIt brings its own.

📎 Any file type. Blocs forms accept images, PDF, audio, video and ZIP. DropIt goes further: Word, Excel and every other format are zipped automatically in the visitor’s browser and sent straight through, original file names preserved.

📸 Mobile camera capture. One tap and phone visitors snap a photo directly into the form. Perfect for support requests, quotes and claims.

🖼️ Smart compression. Big phone photos are resized on the visitor’s device so they always fit the upload limits. Friendly, instant feedback the moment a file is dropped, in every language you like.

✨ Fully styleable. Icons, colours, borders, thumbnails, list or grid layout, live size totals. Multiple instances per site, Global Area safe, full manual included, free updates via the Extension Manager.
